**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Service Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in service writing. If you have a passion for automotive service and possess strong mechanical knowledge, we encourage you to apply.
**Responsibilities:**
- Communicate with customers to understand their vehicle issues and service needs
- Provide accurate estimates for repairs, including brake repair, shocks, struts, tire service, and diesel engine repair
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services
- Upsell additional services or products as needed
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and service history
**Qualifications:**
- Prior experience in service writing, preferred but not required
- Familiarity with various automotive services such as brake repair, shocks, struts, tire service, and diesel engine repair
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and technicians
- Proven track record of upselling services or products
- Proficiency in using computer systems to transmit work orders and invoices
