Per Diem Pharmacy Technician – Night Shift
Location: White Plains, NY
Schedule: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Monday–Friday, alternating weekends & holidays
Pay Rate: $28–$40/hour

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations in an acute-care hospital setting. The role involves medication dispensing, pharmacy inventory, cleanroom/IV support, automated dispensing systems, and pharmacy technology.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience
- Acute-care hospital experience required
- New York State Registered Pharmacy Technician – required upon hire
- PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician – required upon hire
- Pharmacy students currently enrolled in an accredited college of pharmacy may be eligible to satisfy certain registration/certification requirements.
- Experience working with pharmacists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Strong attention to medication safety, regulatory compliance, and workflow priorities
Key Responsibilities
- Support medication dispensing and pharmacy operations
- Fill patient-specific medications, floor-stock orders, and emergency kits
- Provide Cleanroom/IV pharmacy support while following USP <797> and <800>
- Manage pharmacy inventory and medication packaging
- Operate and support Pyxis, KitCheck, EPIC, and other pharmacy technology
- Troubleshoot equipment/system issues and coordinate with Pharmacy IT/vendor teams
- Support medication history interviews when assigned to the Emergency Department
- Maintain regulatory, safety, infection-control, and quality standards
