JC Hot Rods & Restos is looking for an experienced Automotive Wiring & Electronics Technician to join our growing restoration and custom fabrication shop. We specialize in classic cars, hot rods, muscle cars, resto-mods, and custom builds. If you enjoy diagnosing electrical problems, building clean wiring systems, and bringing classic vehicles to life, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Install complete wiring harnesses (American Autowire, Painless, Ron Francis, etc.)
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues on classic and custom vehicles
- Wire fuel injection systems, electric fans, fuel pumps, gauges, lighting, ignition systems, and accessories
- Install and troubleshoot aftermarket electronics including Vintage Air, Dakota Digital, Holley EFI, radios, backup cameras, power windows, and power locks
- Read wiring diagrams and fabricate clean, professional electrical systems
- Perform electrical testing and final quality checks before vehicle delivery
- Maintain an organized and safe work area
Qualifications
- 3+ years of automotive electrical and wiring experience preferred
- Experience with classic cars, restorations, or custom builds is a major plus
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Attention to detail and pride in clean workmanship
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
