Position Summary
The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI examinations while ensuring exceptional patient care, safety, and comfort throughout the imaging experience. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a patient-centered outpatient environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Utilize independent judgment and critical thinking to adapt imaging techniques as needed.
- Verify patient identity and ensure all orders and documentation are accurate prior to imaging.
- Explain procedures clearly to patients and answer questions to help ease anxiety and promote comfort.
- Monitor patients throughout the examination and communicate any significant findings or changes in condition to the radiologist and appropriate medical personnel.
- Prioritize patient privacy, safety, and comfort at all times.
- Document examinations accurately and completely in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain MRI equipment and imaging rooms in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
- Perform routine quality assurance procedures and assist with preventative maintenance activities.
- Adhere to all MRI safety, HIPAA, and infection control policies.
- Assist with additional duties as needed to support daily center operations.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or completion of an accredited MRI program required.
- ARRT (MR) certification required or registry eligible.
- Current BLS certification preferred.
- Previous MRI experience in an outpatient setting is preferred, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Commitment to providing outstanding patient care and customer service.

- A Full-Time MRI Technologist for our Little Rock location.
- A Multi-Site MRI Technologist to travel between our Little Rock, Searcy, and Conway facilities.
