Expected Starting Salary Hiring Range: $81,841 - $92,071Starting Salary Depending on Experience and Qualifications
Serves as subject matter expert and business systems analyst for assigned enterprise applications. Manages technology projects from initiation through implementation. Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements, improve business processes, implement and integrate data-driven solutions that advance the Town's strategic priorities.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
- Serves as the initial point of contact for departments for assigned applications.

Serves as the primary technical analyst and subject matter expert for assigned enterprise applications, providing leadership for system administration, configuration, optimization, maintenance, and lifecycle planning.

Conducts business requirements gathering through interviews, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement. Translates business needs into functional and technical specifications.

Evaluates business processes and activities that relate to application functionality, recommends improvements and modifications, and writes and modifies operating procedures.

Prepares various reports, as required, including project schedules and updates, program manuals, charts, and diagrams.

Develops user documentation, standard operating procedures, knowledge base articles, and technical documentation.

Evaluates, analyzes, and recommends new releases and enhancements to existing applications.

Monitors project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions.

Serves as technical lead on complex applications and maintenance assignments by working with department managers and key users to identify project milestones, phases, and elements, form project teams, and establishes project budget requirements.

Works with the cybersecurity team to ensure cybersecurity guidelines are followed, and applications meets cybersecurity best practices.

Trains Town employees in software and application usage and develops documentation requirements of programs and systems for users and staff.

Uses project management methodologies (i.e. PMI, Agile, Lean) to manage and report on IT projects. This includes charters, change control, project cost tracking, after action, etc.

Collaborate with vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot complex technical issues, budgetary items, coordinate enhancements, and manage support activities.

Leads cross-functional technology projects from initiation through implementation utilizing industry standard project management methodologies. Develops project charters, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, status reports, change management documentation, and post-implementation reviews.

Plans, coordinates, and executes enterprise software implementations, upgrades, migrations, and enhancement projects while ensuring successful adoption and minimal operational disruption.
Analyzes new applications, prior to onboarding, to ensure that they meet IT department standards, direction, policy and cybersecurity best practices.

Knowledge of relational databases and SQL for data analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
- Work is performed in an indoor environment.

This position requires working on-site.

Regular and reliable attendance; may work more than forty hours in a workweek without additional compensation to perform assigned job duties, including weekends, evenings, early morning hours, and holidays as required.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must pass an Arizona Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) background check and screening by the Oro Valley Police Department.
