What We're Looking For:
We’re seeking an EFDA/EFODA who brings both clinical skill and compassion to the chairside experience. The ideal candidate is confident in their expanded functions, takes ownership of their role, highly organized, a team player and has great communication skills. A positive attitude and a proactive mindset are essential.
✨ Responsibilities Include:
- Clinical Leadership & Training: Onboard and mentor junior dental assistants. Train the clinical team on efficient scheduling, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and advanced clinical techniques.
- OSHA & Infection Control Compliance: Serve as the practice Safety Coordinator. Manage the office hazard communication plan, maintain SDS sheets, ensure proper sterilization protocols follow state board and CDC/OSHA guidelines, and run required monthly safety meetings.
- Inventory & Ordering Management: Oversee the clinical supply budget. Monitor stock levels, handle relationships with dental supply vendors, and execute systematic ordering to minimize waste while ensuring the practice is fully equipped.
- Advanced Clinical Support: Provide high-quality expanded functions chairside care (EFDA or EFOD), maintaining excellent patient comfort and smooth room turnaround times.
✅ Qualifications:
- Current Oregon EFDA certification and radiology license required
- Preferred EFODA certification
- 5+ years of dental assisting experience is required
- Proficiency in digital charting and io scanning
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- A commitment to continued learning and improvement

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
