| Flexible Schedule | Pediatric Home-Based Services
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing Early Intervention team. This opportunity is ideal for a therapist who enjoys thinking creatively, building strong relationships with families, and helping children thrive within their natural environments.
Whether you're providing support during mealtime routines, encouraging sensory exploration through play, or celebrating a child's first independent skill, your work will have a lasting impact on the lives of children and families.
What You'll Do
- Provide engaging, play-based occupational therapy services in homes and community settings.
- Partner with families to create meaningful, individualized strategies that can be naturally incorporated into daily routines.
- Implement treatment plans developed by supervising Occupational Therapists.
- Support developmental skills through child-led, strengths-based intervention.
- Educate and empower caregivers through coaching and collaboration.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
- Manage your schedule while maintaining strong communication with families and team members.
- Participate in monthly team meetings focused on collaboration, growth, and shared learning.
What We're Looking For
- Current California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.
- Understanding of child development, sensory processing, and family-centered care.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage documentation deadlines.
- A therapist who enjoys creativity, flexibility, and working within a child's natural environment.
Bonus Points If You Have Experience With
- Early Intervention services (Birth to Three)
- Sensory Integration
- Feeding and oral-motor development
- Coaching parents and caregivers
- Bilingual Spanish or Armenian
