Overview
At Hygia Home Health Care, we believe healthcare should feel personal. We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in patients' homes throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
This is a home health position, not a hospital or clinic role. LVNs travel to patients' homes to deliver quality care, monitor patient progress, and support patients in maintaining their independence and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Measure and record vital signs and observe patient conditions
- Assist with patient assessments and report changes to the RN or provider
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Provide basic nursing care including wound care, catheter care, and patient hygiene
- Accurately document patient information in EMR systems
- Support patients and families with education and emotional reassurance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in good standing
- Experience in clinical, outpatient, long-term care, or community settings preferred
- Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and patient safety practices
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
- Current BLS certification
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
