Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Minnesota teaching license in Special Education: Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (Tier 3 or Tier 4)
- Experience supporting students in special programs across various age ranges
- Proven background working with resource and specialized programs (such as RISE placements) preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Enthusiasm for onsite, in-person instruction; this is an onsite-only position
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess individualized instruction that meets the unique needs of students in special education settings
- Collaborate with fellow educators, school staff, and families to develop IEPs and provide tailored support
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all students feel empowered to learn
- Monitor and document student progress, adapting strategies as needed for growth and success
- Participate actively in team meetings, professional development, and school events
