Duties
- Greet and assist guests during late-night hours with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring a positive guest experience.
- Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts, reservations, and billing using hotel management systems such as OPERA to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Handle all front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, and answering multi-line phone systems with courteous phone etiquette.
- Maintain security by monitoring CCTV surveillance, performing safety checks, and adhering to hotel emergency procedures.
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and financial summaries to ensure smooth handovers and accurate record-keeping.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries or issues related to room service, amenities, or hotel facilities with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any overnight room or facility concerns efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations, particularly in night audit or front desk roles.
- Strong knowledge of hotel management software such as OPERA; resort experience is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and guest relations best practices to ensure safety and satisfaction.
- Exceptional phone etiquette skills and experience managing multi-line phone systems in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Previous experience working in a resort or luxury hotel setting is preferred.
