About the role
Help lead our culinary program to deliver memorable, resident-centered dining that nourishes body and soul.
You’ll support menu execution, train teammates, and keep the kitchen organized, safe, and efficient.
What you’ll do
Lead production, plating, and presentation alongside the Chef
Support menu creation balancing nutrition, variety, and delight
Train, mentor, and schedule kitchen teammates as assigned
Maintain food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
Assist with purchasing, inventory, and equipment maintenance
Engage residents to gather feedback and elevate experiences
Skills & attributes
Advanced culinary technique and creativity
Calm leadership under pressure; strong organization
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation
Mentorship mindset; eager to teach and coach
Customer service focus and adaptability
Relatable experience
Culinary leadership roles in healthcare, hospitality, or hotels
Programs serving seniors or vulnerable populations
Internships or roles honing leadership and technique
Qualifications
At least 21 years of age
ServeSafe (or able to obtain within 60 days)
Current negative TB test; able to pass a criminal background check
Time management and documentation skills
