This position serves as the strategic Human Resources Labor Relations Manager for the People and Internal Operations Department (PIOD), managing the administration of the department’s internal disciplinary program. This role ensures that all actions of departmental personnel are executed uniformly and fairly, in accordance with progressive discipline principles, while strictly preserving employees' rights to due process. The incumbent supervises and provides daily guidance to subordinate PIOD HR staff. The position oversees internal Reasonable Accommodations processes, employee complaints, disputes, formal investigations, and the review and recommendation of administrative actions. In addition, the incumbent provides managerial oversight for PIOD's internal Labor Relations program, ensuring that labor practices, work procedures, and personnel administration align consistently with Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs), applicable administrative policies, and department-specific programs. This role works with various stakeholders. Furthermore, the incumbent guarantees the timely processing of grievances filed within PIOD, reviewing and recommending grievance responses and internal settlement agreements.
