Job Summary
Ateres Bnos Ita, a premier institution dedicated to providing exceptional Judaic and secular education, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced High School Biology Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our high school girls and inspiring them to reach their full potential. In this part-time position, you will teach 5 class periods per week across 4 days, with a focus on Microbiology and Anatomy & Physiology.
Responsibilities
Prepare and teach high school Biology classes at a strong academic level
Teach topics related to Microbiology and Anatomy & Physiology
Develop hands-on labs and interactive learning experiences on a consistent basis
Maintain effective classroom management
Grade assignments, assessments, and labs in a timely manner
Communicate professionally with administration and staff
Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment
Qualifications
Background in Biology, science, healthcare, medicine, nursing, or related field required
Bachelor's degree preferred
Teaching experience preferred but not required
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to engage and motivate high school students
