Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), where you will play a vital role in designing and implementing evidence-based behavioral interventions for individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. As a BCBA, you will lead patient assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to promote meaningful progress. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify individual needs and strengths.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to measure progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and support staff to ensure fidelity of interventions.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare providers to coordinate care plans and facilitate consistent implementation across settings.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, patient records, and HIPAA-compliant reports in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
- Participate in intake processes, patient care planning, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the behavioral health setting.
Qualifications
- Valid Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Must have an Active Maryland LBA.
- Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and special education strategies.
- Skilled in data collection methods, patient assessment procedures, and behavioral health best practices.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and managing medical records securely under HIPAA regulations.
- Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with families, multidisciplinary teams, and community partners.
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and participate in intake processes effectively. Pay: $95.00 - $135.00 per hour
