The Position
The Sales Representative's primary responsibility is to develop new business. You will play a key role of initiating contact and connecting with both new and old business prospects in order to identify opportunities and progress them through the sales cycle. Candidates should expect a hands-on training experience in a real world environment that will help them develop sales, business, and life skills to be successful.
The Sales Representative position at Green Innovations is a dynamic one, as you will be involved in both sales and purchasing. It is crucial that a Sales Representative is able to develop the ability identify, and execute deals from start to finish. While this poses some unique challenges, it also presents tremendous opportunity.
Job Duties

To create and foster connections with key people at prospective businesses in order to advance qualified opportunities through the sales cycle.
In order to accomplish this objective, you must perform the following activities:
- Creating and developing relationships with key contacts
- Cold calling potential prospects
- Qualifying prospects
- Documenting in the CRM system
- Working with other GI team members to advance opportunities
- Manage work flow to maximize results
- Mange accounts and maintain relationships

Compensation
You will be paid a base salary plus commission (and benefits). The commission structure is uncapped, allowing you to maximize your pay through performance. You can build a diverse and rich book of business within the first year on the job. The connections you make will allow for a B2B relationship that will yield repetitive and predictable commissions. Your base salary will be fixed at $65,000 during your onboarding and training at Green. After six months, your salary is adjusted down $55,000, and you will begin earning commissions.
