We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide behavioral support services within a school setting in Pasco, Washington. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students achieve their educational and behavioral goals while working collaboratively with educators and support staff.
Position Details
- Location: Pasco, WA
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 6.0 hours/day
- Wednesday: 4.0 hours/day
- Early Release Days: 4.0 hours/day
- School Calendar: 180 days annually
- Hourly Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the direction of a BCBA or supervising professional.
- Provide one-on-one behavioral support to students in educational settings.
- Collect, record, and maintain accurate behavioral data.
- Assist students in developing communication, social, behavioral, and academic skills.
- Support teachers and school staff in implementing positive behavior strategies.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in accordance with district and state guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educational staff and families when appropriate.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass required background screening and district clearance requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a school-based setting.
- Experience supporting students with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, or related field.
