Regional LTL trucking company is now hiring Class A CDL drivers for City P & D
Responsibilities:
Operate vehicle safely within DOT regulations
Ability to handle freight, interact with customers, and complete local pick-up and delivery work
Ability to work Monday-Friday during the day-hours may vary (usually 9-5)
Qualifications:
Must be at least 22 years of age
Meet all DOT standards and maintain a commercial driver’s license (CDL)
Have verifiable MVR-in good standing
Have a minimum of two years verifiable commercial driving experience in Class A equipment
Be in good physical condition-Must pass a FMCSA required medical exam
Physical activities include: standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting, climbing a ladder, etc..
Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 80 lbs.
Must be able to pass a company Muscular Skeleton Exam
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and will be subject to a criminal background check
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Compensation and Benefits:
Class A drivers start at $28 an hour
Must have haz mat certification
