Overview
Looking for a trash valet porter to work responsibly with little or no supervision.
There is a brand new apartment opening up in Cumming the first week of August, 2026. We are looking for someone who could commit to Monday through Thursday nights + Saturday nights to pick up trash at residents’ apartment doors, put them in a cart, and push them to the compactor to throw them away. Also, there will be some trash carts already with trash that need to be pushed to the compactor and back.
You will also have an app that may require you to take pictures of problems and submit them nightly.
In the beginning, there won’t be many residents; work can be done in about 30 minutes. As the property’s occupancy grows, your job will take longer (2 or more hours), and your pay will increase.
In the beginning, your pay will be $25/night; five nights will be $125/week or $500/month. As the occupancy of the property grows, you will receive more pay; up to $1200/month! You also get paid holidays. You will be required to provide back-up personnel to work for you in emergency situations—SERVICE CANNOT BE SKIPPED.

WORK IS MON / TUES / WED/ THURS / SAT after 7pm. Work needs to be completed before 10:30pm.

The job involves an average of 1-2.5 hours per night.
Run the compactor until clear and clean up any spills we leave nearby
PLEASE READ - YOU MUST:
* Be over 18 years of age
* Have excellent customer service attitude.
* Commit to being on site every service night - dependability is a MUST
* Provide name and number of your backup personnel in the event of emergency or vacation
* Have a mobile phone, download an app to take pictures of issues during service
* Be detail oriented so that we do not miss apartments during service
* Be able to work efficiently at your own pace
* Enjoy working both inside and outside - work RAIN or SHINE, in all weather (unless conditions are deemed dangerous by company and property staff)
* PAID HOLIDAYS and occasional opportunities for extra work and income
* Check in via app every night and able to work with little or no supervision
You will be an independent contractor and will be paid on a 1099.
Responsibilities
- Operate various vehicles including pickup trucks and shuttle vehicles to collect and transport trash from designated areas
- Navigate using GPS devices to efficiently follow assigned routes, including over-the-road (OTR) driving routes when necessary
- Safely load, unload, and handle waste materials using manual handling techniques and equipment such as pallet jacks or carts
- Adhere strictly to traffic regulations, safety protocols, and company policies during all driving and operational activities
- Maintain communication with team members via mobile devices to coordinate pickups and report any issues or delays
- Ensure proper disposal of waste according to environmental standards and company procedures
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections for mechanical issues, including checking air brakes, fluid levels, and mechanical components before and after shifts
