Customer Service Agent
Part-Time Overnight Position
Pay: $19.00–$20.00 per hour
Schedule: Sunday, Monday & Tuesday | 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Hours: 30 hours per week
Iowa Staffing is looking for a dependable and professional Customer Service Agent to join our client's team. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for customer service.
Responsibilities
- Answer and manage a multi-line phone system.
- Assist clients through the service process with professionalism and compassion.
- Gather information, prepare documentation, and coordinate services.
- Greet clients and visitors while providing exceptional customer service.
- Process payments and issue receipts.
- Create and update documents using Microsoft Word and PDF software.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
- File confidential paperwork and organize office documents.
- Complete general office duties including copying, scanning, mailing, and distributing packages.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service and general office experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to type at least 35 WPM.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to perform light lifting and light office cleaning duties.
- Ability to obtain or maintain any required licensing for the position (training provided if applicable).
