Are you passionate about health, fitness, and helping others? MPOWER Physical Therapy is looking for a motivated, energetic Physical Therapy Technician to join our team at our Green Hills clinic!
This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in physical therapy, sports medicine, healthcare, or exercise science who enjoys working directly with patients in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic setting. As a Physical Therapy Technician, you'll work alongside experienced Physical Therapists to help patients recover from injuries, improve mobility, and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), and we are looking for someone who can commit to the role for at least six months.

Assist Physical Therapists with patient care by administering therapeutic modalities under the direction of a licensed therapist.

Guide and encourage patients through prescribed exercise programs.

Assist with safely transferring and escorting patients throughout the clinic.

Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment environment.

Keep therapy equipment clean, organized, and in proper working condition.

Monitor and restock clinic supplies as needed.

Assist therapists with daily scheduling and clinic flow.

Help patients schedule future therapy appointments before leaving the clinic.

Support front desk operations, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, filing paperwork, and data entry.

Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and company policies.

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Therapy Administration.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

A bachelor’s degree is preferred

Training or experience in orthopedic care is preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Basic knowledge in exercise physiology, bio mechanics and exercise techniques
- Working knowledge of basic anatomy

Successful completion of the MPOWER Tech Training manual and exam after training

Comfortable effectively using MS Office programs including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook

Ability to work with Practice Management software as required after training
Good communication skills and the ability to perform patient education duties
