West Michigan Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, one of West Michigan's leading oral surgery practices, is seeking a Dental Billing Specialist to join our growing team.
This is a full-time, in-person position.
What You'll Do
As a Dental Billing Specialist, you will be an integral member of our billing team, helping ensure accurate and timely insurance processing and reimbursement. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Processing electronic insurance claims
- Posting insurance payments and managing denials
- Patient billing and account inquiries
- Accounts receivable follow-up and collections
- Working with multiple insurance carriers and payer guidelines
- Supporting billing operations for a multi-location specialty practice
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of dental or medical billing experience (required)
- Knowledge of insurance payer regulations, claim processing, and reimbursement methods
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
