About the Role:
The Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials within the warehouse and production areas. This position is responsible for operating forklifts to load, unload, and transport goods, maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting overall operational flow. The operator will work closely with warehouse staff and supervisors to meet daily production and shipping deadlines while adhering to safety protocols. Attention to detail and adherence to company policies are essential to prevent damage to products and equipment. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to the smooth functioning of the supply chain and customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and accurate handling of materials.
Minimum Qualifications:

Valid forklift operator certification or license in accordance with OSHA regulations.

Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.

Ability to work the 2nd shift schedule reliably and punctually.

Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently during the 2nd shift.

Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and storage racks according to company procedures.

Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and assist with cycle counts as needed.
