Job Duties and Requirements included but not limited to:
- Expected to be able to run 1 column and sometimes 2 if there are small appointments at the same time.
- Expected to have a positive and bright personality; able to converse with our patients and make them comfortable.
- Must have good attention to infection control and cleanliness.
- Break down and set up rooms
- Sterilization
- Coronal polishing
- Assist the doctor with all dental procedures
- Take X-rays
- Make impressions
- Make temporaries
- Digital Scans
- Take photos
- Pack cord
- Whitening
- Make night guards and whitening trays
- Charting for the doctor during exams and entering/sequencing treatment
- Checking out patients, posting treatment
- Knowledge of Archy is appreciated but not required. The ability to learn a new software is required.
- Cross training for the front is appreciated
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of a dental assisting program or dental assisting experience is preferred.
Our office hours are:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 9:00am - 6pm
Earning Potential:
- Hourly pay depends on experience.
Years experience required:
- 3-5 years preferred.
** Dental assisting experience is necessary for this position.
