Duties
- Provide a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions using advanced techniques such as balayage or color theory principles.
- Perform specialized treatments such as eyelash extensions, nail care, and hair threading to meet client needs.
- Operate salon software systems like aesthetic record for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking.
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
- Assist clients with product recommendations and retail sales to enhance their beauty routines through upselling and retail math strategies.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and handling inquiries professionally.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in barbering, cosmetology techniques, and customer service excellence to foster team growth.
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience working in the beauty industry.
- Proficiency in salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment booking and client records management.
- Strong knowledge of hair coloring techniques, store management practices, and sanitation protocols.
- Skilled in hair styling, hair threading, makeup application, and nail care with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience working with hair extensions and eyelash extensions is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members while providing personalized service.
- Ability to perform retail sales confidently through upselling techniques while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
