The Role
We’re looking for a creative and highly motivated part-time event and content associate to support our social media and community management efforts. If you love storytelling, live and breathe trends, and know how to spark meaningful engagement online and out in the wild, this is for you. You'll help create content, engage with our audience, and assist in being the brand's voice across key social platforms. You'll work directly with the Brand Manager to bring HSC's voice to life across social video and in-person community moments. Each two-week cycle, you'll produce 6 short-form videos and support or run 1 event.
Responsibilities
- Script, shoot and edit 6 short-form videos per two-week cycle for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and paid social
- Bring HSC's cheeky, unapologetic brand voice to on-camera content, including appearing on camera as needed
- Represent HSC at 1 event per cycle (Queer local events), including setup, sampling, and guest interaction
- Handle basic event logistics, packing product/samples, table setup, breakdown
What We’re Looking For
- Deep understanding of queer culture, humor, and online norms—this role requires cultural fluency, not just allyship
- Comfort being on camera and directing others on camera
- Video shooting and editing skills (phone-shot content is great — CapCut/Reels/TikTok editing is fine)
- Strong grasp of social platform trends, especially Reels and TikTok
- Comfortable talking openly and confidently about sexual wellness products
- Passion for social media, community-building, and pop culture
- A natural communicator with a witty, warm, or clever tone (or all three!)
- Organized, self-motivated, and not afraid to ask questions
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
