Rainbow Restoration of SE Louisville is seeking an organized, motivated, and hands-on Assistant Project Manager to help support our management team.
This role is ideal for someone with construction, restoration, remodeling, or insurance repair experience who enjoys being both in the field and in the office. You’ll work directly alongside company leadership to help manage projects from emergency response through final reconstruction while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

What You’ll Do
- Support Management Team in overseeing residential and commercial restoration projects.
- Assist with water mitigation, mold remediation, fire restoration, and reconstruction projects.
- Conduct job site visits to monitor progress, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries.
- Help schedule trades and ensure projects stay on timeline.
- Assist in developing scopes of work and reviewing estimates.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, insurance adjusters, property managers, and trade partners.
- Maintain accurate job documentation, photographs, moisture logs, and project notes.
- Assist with change orders, supplements, and project updates.
- Perform final walkthroughs to ensure quality standards are met.
- Help ensure projects follow IICRC S500 standards and company procedures.
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience from start to finish.
Qualifications
Preferred Experience
- 2+ years of construction, restoration, remodeling, or project coordination experience.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of residential construction methods.
- Restoration industry experience is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with insurance claims is a plus.
- Xactimate experience is preferred but not required.
- IICRC certifications are a plus (WRT, ASD, AMRT, etc.).
