Purpose of the Role
As a Superintendent at Scott-Long Construction, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring that our projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Project Oversight
- Supervise all jobsite operations assigned projects, from start to finish.
- Manage schedules, budgets, quality, and safety standards for commercial construction projects.
Safety & Quality Control
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA and company safety standards at every phase.
Project Planning & Execution
- Participate in preconstruction planning, constructability reviews, and logistics coordination.
- Develop and maintain detailed three-week look-ahead schedules.
- Coordinate inspections, submittals, RFIs, and quality assurance documentation.
- Manage project close-out activities including punch lists, testing, and owner handoff.
Strategic & Organizational Growth
- Represent Scott-Long in client project-related meetings.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial or tenant fit-out projects.
- Strong understanding of field operations, safety programs, construction methods, and building codes.
- Proven team leadership, project scheduling, and field coordination skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and scheduling software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
