Home Instead Wilmington/Newark is seeking a compassionate, motivated Client Care Advisor to join our team. This is a highly relational role for someone who combines excellent people skills with strong organization, good judgment, and a commitment to exceptional service.
You'll serve as a trusted point of contact for older adults and their families, helping them navigate care needs and ensuring they receive personalized, high-quality support at home.
Experience in home care, healthcare, social work, senior services, or care coordination is a plus, but we're also interested in accomplished professionals from other fields who bring strong client-service, relationship-management, and problem-solving experience.
What You'll Do
- Build strong, ongoing relationships with clients and their families
- Conduct in-home Care Consultations and ongoing client assessments
- Develop and update personalized Plans of Care as client needs change
- Oversee client services with a focus on quality, satisfaction, and retention
- Work closely with Care Professionals and our office team to coordinate successful care
- Identify changing client needs and recommend additional services or support when appropriate
- Resolve concerns with empathy, professionalism, and good judgment
- Maintain accurate client documentation and uphold quality standards
- Travel locally to client homes and senior living communities during the workday

- Confidence communicating with clients and families, including during sensitive or challenging situations

- Comfort with technology and electronic record-keeping systems
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
- Professional experience in a relationship-focused, client-service environment; home care, healthcare, social work, senior services, or care coordination experience is a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
