Controller Job Description:
The controller will oversee all aspects of cost accounting in our manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for ensuring the accurate tracking, reporting, and analysis of costs, sales, commissions, and payroll functions. The ideal candidate must have strong manufacturing cost accounting experience and the ability to perform analysis of sales and COGS.
Controller Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the cost accounting function, including reporting, cost tracking, and variance analysis for manufacturing operations.
- Prepare payroll by calculating employee wages, deductions, bonuses, and commissions, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Oversee inventory-related accounts payable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Track manufacturing allowances or deductions, ensuring accurate accounting.
- Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and cost reports.
- Collaborate on the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial planning for manufacturing costs.
- Manage inventory accounting, including reconciliation, write-offs, and adjustments.
- Assist in month-end close and financial reporting.
Controller Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (CPA, CMA, or similar certification preferred).
- 5+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment (required).
- Advanced Excel skills.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
