Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years MS RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:
- Contract position with required ability to float across all Med/Surg and Telemetry units as needed.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent Med/Surg and Tele experience required.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred (applicants should be prepared to pass an EKG competency exam during onboarding).
- Experience and proficiency in managing cardiac drips (including insulin and heparin), titrating to heart rate, trach care, chest tubes, PIV starts, and use of glucometers.
- Certification in Med/Surg nursing is a plus.
- Willingness to float and adapt within various Med/Surg and Tele units.
- EPIC EMR experience is highly beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to a diverse inpatient Med/Surg and Telemetry population with a nurse-to-patient ratio typically between 1:4-6.
- Administer and monitor complex cardiac and other intravenous drips confidently.
- Collaborate with CNAs, unit secretaries, phlebotomists, resource nurses, and attendings for comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain clear, timely documentation in EPIC and ensure proper use of unit technology and monitoring equipment.
- Participate in orientation and required educational modules.
