Commision Earning Field Service Technician – Saratoga Spas

Saratoga Spas, a division of Imperial Pools, is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our service team supporting portable hot tubs in the field and in house.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing technical role focused on troubleshooting, servicing, upselling, and repairing portable spa equipment at private residences and in our factory. If you’re a mechanically inclined problem-solver who enjoys working independently—and prefers being in the field instead of stuck in a shop—this role delivers.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnose, service, and repair portable hot tub systems at residential customer locations and in house
- Dispatch daily from our Latham, NY facility in a company-provided service vehicle
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control-related issues
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and service manuals
- Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and ensure proper inventory is stocked daily
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and internal scheduling teams
- Occasionally work overtime to complete scheduled service calls during peak demand
What We’re Looking For
- Technical experience in Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical Systems, HVAC, or related fields
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize service calls
- Strong troubleshooting mindset—you enjoy figuring things out
- Comfortable working directly with customers in residential settings
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors year-round (heat, rain, snow—welcome to the Northeast)
- Clean driver’s license and strong driving record
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic digital tools
Schedule & Work Environment
- Daytime field service schedule with dispatch from Latham, NY
- In house repairs and diagnostics when not on the road
- Overtime required periodically based on workload and seasonality
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
