POSITION SUMMARY:
This position reports directly to the assistant manager or manager. This position is responsible for keeping the store clean, performing water testing, filling pool additive jugs, and helping with customer needs.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Will train. Excellent customer service skills are required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION:
- To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Perform water balance testing, as needed, for customers.
- Answer phones.
- Help customers with purchases, carrying purchases to the car.
- Ensure store is clean at all times; straighten shelves, dust shelves, keep furniture, displays and counter area clean.
- Vacuum carpeted areas daily/ Mop floors daily.
- Breakdown cardboard boxes.
- Dump trash.
- Stock acid.
- Fill jugs/carry to customer car.
- Clean windows daily.
- Report supply shortage.
- May perform minor repairs.
- Remove all price stickers from returned items.
- Any other duties, as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:
The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.Must be able to lift 50 pounds. The position requires constant walking, bending and lifting. Ability to answer phones and perform functions on a computer necessary when interacting with customers and or the corporate office.
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
