American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week night shift travel contract requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and an active MO or compact RN license.

ICU setting with an average daily census of 6, 8 rooms, and 10 beds
-
Adult and geriatric patient population
-
Staffing ratio of 1:2–3 on both day and night shifts
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
-
Every other weekend required
-
No on-call requirements
-
May float to Med/Surg if not needed in the ICU
-
Charting system: Epic (experience required)
-
Required skills include ventilator management, IV starts, and telemetry monitoring

Active MO RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration (pending IL license may be accepted — please note on application)

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required

Proficiency with ventilators, IV insertion, and telemetry monitoring required

Epic EMR experience required

Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Navy scrubs required

No parking costs at this facility

RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO during the first week of orientation

Travelers may work at this facility for up to 18 months before requiring a 3-month break in service

Former permanent employees of BJC must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
