Excel Tree Expert Co., Inc is seeking an experienced medium/heavy duty truck mechanic with own tools and a strong work ethic. We maintain a large and varied fleet of trucks and tree care equipment, so demonstrated mechanical ability and a willingness to learn are highly valued. Candidates with knowledge of hydraulics and diesel equipment is preferred; we will consider applicants who are eager to learn and expand their skills in those areas.
Required qualifications include a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass a drug-free workplace screening. A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus but not mandatory. This is a year-round, full-time day position based at our Jessup, Maryland facility.
Primary job duties include:
Performing preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing on trucks and equipment.
Troubleshooting, diagnosing, vehicle and equipment repairs.
Work safely to company standards, adhering to all safety policies.
