Parker-Anderson Enrichment, Southern California's leading after school enrichment program for over 25 years, is looking for reliable, experienced Instructors who have a passion for kids and love to be a teacher!
Parker Anderson's mission is to provide meaningful after school enrichment for all students, regardless of demographics. We teach a variety of classes including STEM, Culinary, Chess, Sports, and Art throughout Ventura County, Los Angeles County, Inland Empire, and San Diego County.

About the Roles
We are looking for a caring, energetic, and reliable After-School Instructors to work with Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten students or with Elementary students for studying in our enrichment program. The main responsibility is to supervise and engage students in a safe, fun, and structured environment.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise and ensure the safety of a group of TK and Kindergarten or Elementary students.
- Lead fun, age-appropriate activities such as art, games, and simple learning projects.
- Support social-emotional growth through positive classroom management.
- Assist with daily routines such as snack time, transitions, and clean-up.
- Communicate positively with staff and site coordinators.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with young children
- Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic personality.
- Ability to manage groups of children in a positive and engaging way.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Must be available Monday–Friday afternoons (with early start on Wednesdays).
Required Availability and Hours Provided
- Monday-Friday from 2-6 pm
- Wednesdays from 12-6 pm
- Work 20 hours per week
Required In-person Training and Training Pay Rate
- 9-12 hours in Oxnard office and 3-5 classroom shadowing assignments
- In-person Orientation - TBA
- $18/hr.
In-person Instructor Pay (After Training)
$23/hr.
