Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices at all times.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere and encourage repeat business.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food preparation and beverage crafting.
- Cash handling experience is beneficial for managing transactions accurately.
- A genuine passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing techniques and beverage offerings.
