American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a high-acuity Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring strong telemetry experience, 1:6 patient ratio experience, and a FL or compact RN license.

Work in the MS/Tele unit of an acute care hospital with 210 staffed beds
-
Mixed unit with high acuity, cardiac tele, and PCU patient population
-
1:6 patient ratio required
-
Day shift schedule (4x12 hours, 7:00-19:00)

Every other weekend required
-
Floating required within scope
-
No block scheduling accommodated

Meditech charting system used
-
Rapid Response team experience required
-
Total joints experience required
-
Active FL or compact RN license required in hand
-
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS

Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required

1:6 patient ratio experience required (1:5 ratio experience may be considered if clearly stated)

Strong telemetry experience required

Rapid Response team experience required

Total joint replacement experience required
-
Community hospital experience preferred

Meditech charting system experience required

Provide nursing care in a high-acuity mixed unit setting including MS/Tele, Cardiac Tele, and PCU patients

Must reside more than 30 miles from the facility

Must attend mandatory clinical orientation consisting of 5 shifts (36-40 hours) during the first week
-
No RTO permitted during the first or last week of the assignment
-
Holiday coverage required: 1 evening and 1 holiday shift if 1-2 holidays fall within the assignment, or 1 evening and 2 holiday shifts if 3 holidays fall within the assignment

Any scrub color accepted
