ABOUT US:
Creative Trails has been a community support program staple for over 18 years, (a subsidiary of Support Solutions, a private, non-profit organization). Support Solutions has been providing direct care and support services to individuals with intellectual and mental health uniqueness, in central and southern Maine, since 1997.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Spend your workdays exploring the coastal and wooded hiking trails in Southern and Central Maine or spend time in the vibrant community in the greater Portland area. Also support individuals with making art, volunteering, or engaging in agricultural experiences-- as part of a great team!
Hours: Part time hours available working with a team in the community and facility T-W-Th or do full time by adding Community Membership (exploring the community) Monday and Friday at $17.50 for those days. Full time 36 hours.
South Portland Foundation Program supports adults with mental uniquenesses, in accessing their chosen community, including spending time daily outdoors exploring, as well as teaching art, and foundational skills.

We provide our Direct Support Professional staff with paid training, (DSP, CPR/FA, Safety Care). To be considered a great candidate you must...
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Willingness to undergo background checks in accordance with local law/regulations
- Have an acceptable driving record and background checks (including criminal, driving, the OIG, DHHS, APS, and other governmental agencies)
- Have a valid MAINE driver’s license and a reliable insured vehicle
- Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
