Looking for a Certified teacher to work full-time hours in multiple classrooms. Must be EEC Certified and have First Aid and CPR certificate. Responsibilities include developing and presenting curriculum, developing student evaluations and interacting with parents. Must be a STRONG, DEPENDABLE and CREATIVE individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement a dynamic theme based weekly curriculum focused on exploration, creativity, and cognitive development.
- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment for children to grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually.
- Observe, assess, and document children’s developmental milestones and progress regularly.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing updates on child development and engaging in regular feedback sessions.
- Create a welcoming, safe, and organized classroom environment, ensuring compliance with Massachusetts EEC standards.
- Participate in team collaboration with other educators to develop cross-curricular activities and events that engage children in meaningful learning experiences.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and training to continuously improve teaching practices.
- Ensure classroom safety and compliance with all EEC regulations, including maintaining appropriate teacher-child ratios and documentation.
We are open 7:30 AM - 5:00pm
2 Toddler Classrooms/ 1 Preschool / 1 Pre - K
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred)
- EEC Teacher Certification in Early Education and Care (enrolled in classes or looking for enrollment : Assistant Teachers).
- At least 2 years of experience working with young children in a preschool or early childhood education setting.
- Strong knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and establish meaningful relationships with children, families, and staff.
- CPR and First Aid Certified (or ability to obtain upon hire).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
