Position:
Staffing Coordinator – Home Care
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Staffing Coordinator to join our Bronx NYC team. This role is ideal for someone with prior coordination experience in a Licensed Certified Home Health Care Service Agency (LCHSA) and familiarity with staffing databases such as HHA Exchange. Fluency in Spanish is essential to support our Spanish-speaking caregivers and patients.
Requirements:
- Minimum of one year experience in Home Care HHA staffing
- Proficiency with HHA Exchange database (training available if needed)
- Ability to work onsite in the Bronx NYC with first few weeks of training in our Brooklyn corporate office
- Bilingual in English/Spanish – mandatory
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Staffing: Assign caregivers to open cases and ensure coverage for new patients
- Team Collaboration: Partner with the coordination team to confirm case details and staffing needs
- Coverage Management: Arrange replacements for call-outs, emergencies, or no-shows
- Patient Engagement: Conduct welcome calls for new patients and follow-up survey calls to assess caregiver fit
- Caregiver Scheduling: Run availability reports, update caregiver profiles, and maintain Excel tracking sheets
- On-Call Duties: Provide coverage to guarantee timely Home Health Aide placement
- Daily Operations
- Maintain call logs
- Handle pre-billing tasks
- Communicate regularly with patients, caregivers (PCA/PA), MLTCs, and CHHAs
- Ensure timely submission of caregiver timesheets
- Team Collaboration: Partner with the coordination team to confirm case details and staffing needs
- Coverage Management: Arrange replacements for call-outs, emergencies, or no-shows
- Patient Engagement: Conduct welcome calls for new patients and follow-up survey calls to assess caregiver fit
- Caregiver Scheduling: Run availability reports, update caregiver profiles, and maintain Excel tracking sheets
Additional Notes
- Candidates must have at least one year of home care experience
- Must reside in or commute to Bronx, NY (with training held in Brooklyn)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
