Position Overview: We are looking for a passionate individual to assist in the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen attention to detail, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service. As the Assistant Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Front of House Manager to maintain high standards of food and drink quality, service, and cleanliness while fostering a positive work environment for the staff.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
- Lead and motivate the front-of-house teams to ensure exceptional guest experiences and efficient service.
- Train, mentor, and develop staff members, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
- Monitor and maintain drink quality, presentation, and consistency, following established recipes and standards.
- Manage inventory, track supplies, and ensure timely ordering to prevent shortages and wastage.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and proactive manner.
- Implement and enforce health and safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Collaborate with the Front of House Manager to create and execute promotions, events, and marketing initiatives to drive business growth.
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing labor costs to achieve optimal operational efficiency.
- Assist in managing group events and meetings
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles is recommended but not necessary.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest service and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Sound knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite is recommended
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Compensation: Competitive wage based on experience and qualifications
