Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of milk tea drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met consistently
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Chowbus and Blackbirds, processing retail sales transactions efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations
- Handle cashing out customers, managing cash handling duties with accuracy and attention to detail
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety practices
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring timely delivery of beverages and snacks
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or food service background is preferred; passion for milk tea is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems for retail sales transactions and cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Experience in café or retail environments is desirable; previous experience serving in food industry roles is beneficial
