Dental Assistant Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate is organized, motivated, and committed to providing exceptional patient care in a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure they are clean, stocked, and ready for patients.
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
- Take digital radiographs and intraoral photographs as needed.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols in accordance with OSHA and CDC guidelines.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Record accurate clinical notes and update patient records.
- Set up and break down operatories between patients.
- Manage dental materials and inventory.
- Support front office duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and answering phones.
- Create a positive, comfortable experience for every patient.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Dental assisting experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
Preferred
- Fluent or conversational Spanish.
- Experience with digital dental software and electronic health records.
- CPR/BLS certification.

- Part Time (approximately 28–34 hours per week)
- Monday–Wednesday (or as needed)
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
