We are seeking a driven, compassionate Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) with strong leadership skills who is ready to take on new challenges and make a meaningful impact. As our CDM, you will lead a dedicated Dietary Services team committed to providing exceptional nutrition, outstanding resident care, and a positive workplace culture.

Wage Range: $36-$38
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise the Dietary Services department

Communicate effectively and professionally with dietary staff, administration, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members

Manage hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, coaching, evaluations, and staff development

Process invoices, oversee accounts payable and monitor departmental expenditures

ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations

Meet regularly with the Administrator to plan department operations, special functions, and menu events

Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian regarding menus, therapeutic diets, food substitutions, and nutritional standards

Demonstrate knowledge of IDDSI diets
-
Maintain inventory, organization, sanitation, and cleanliness throughout the dietary department

Develop and maintain kitchen cleaning schedules and ensure assigned duties are completed

Manage the department budget and required documentation

Coordinate menus to meet residents' nutritional needs and regulatory requirements

Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Current Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification, or willingness to obtain at hire
-
Minimum of one year of dietary or cooking experience in a healthcare setting

Current Washington State Food Worker Card
-
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Knowledge of long-term care regulations and dietary operations preferred
