JOB DUTIES | What Exactly Will I Be Doing?
The Class A Shuttle Driver role at The H.T. Hackney Co. involves safely and efficiently delivering trailers to the Lenoir City facility. Trailers head out in the afternoons, and each night from Sunday to Thursday, you’ll make two runs of doubles or triples from the Gallatin facility to Lenoir City. Fridays and Saturdays are always off. Reliability and consistent attendance are a must.
Driving for The H.T. Hackney Co. comes with great perks like set routes, dedicated tractors (no slip seating), in-cab electronic logs and GPS, no merchandising or sales duties, trailers loaded by warehouse staff, on-site fueling and a repair shop—and best of all, you get to sleep in your own bed every night!
WORK SCHEDULE | 5 Day Schedule | Weekends Off
- Sunday through Thursday with Friday and Saturday off

POSITION REQUIREMENTS | The Must Haves
- Valid Class A CDL
- Endorsed for Double and Triple driving with experience
- Be able to drive a manual Transmission
- Demonstrated safe driving history
- Ability to safely park and unload trailers
- Pleasant and helpful demeanor, must be a “people person”
- Motivated to work independently
- Works well with others, likes to problem-solve
- Dependable, punctual and work as scheduled
- Reliable transportation to / from work
- Pass pre-employment DOT regulated drug screen & physical
- Must be 21+ for consideration
