Duties
- Manage daily food truck operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving to ensure quick service and customer satisfaction
- Supervise and train staff on food handling, POS systems, cash handling and customer service best practices
- Oversee inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food management efficiency
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe dining environment
- Handle shift management by scheduling staff, coordinating breaks, and ensuring smooth operation during busy hours
- Conduct staff training sessions focused on culinary techniques, hospitality management, and operational procedures
- Implement budgeting strategies for food costs and labor to meet financial goals while delivering quality service
Experience
- Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with a focus on food truck or mobile food operations preferred
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within casual dining or catering settings
- Demonstrated supervisory skills with experience in staff training, team development, and interviewing candidates
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and inventory control practices
