Esteban‘s Concrete is seeking an experienced, hands-on Concrete Foreman to lead field crews on commercial concrete projects. This is a working foreman position—you must be willing to work alongside the crew while directing daily operations, maintaining production, and ensuring quality and safety.
Responsibilities
● Lead and supervise concrete crews in the field.
● Work hands-on alongside the crew as needed.
● Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, elevations, and details.
● Lay out work and verify measurements, grades, forms, reinforcing steel, embeds, and concrete quantities.
● Coordinate daily activities with the Project Manager to meet production goals and project schedules.
● Plan labor, materials, equipment, and concrete pours in advance.
● Assign tasks and clearly communicate daily expectations to crew members.
● Monitor workmanship and ensure work meets plans, specifications, and company quality standards.
● Enforce company safety policies, PPE requirements, and OSHA regulations.
● Conduct daily safety meetings and correct unsafe conditions immediately.
● Coordinate with general contractors, inspectors, concrete suppliers, pump operators, and other trades.
● Track employee hours, daily production, material usage, and jobsite progress.
● Identify plan conflicts, delays, or field issues and report them promptly to the Project Manager.
● Maintain an organized jobsite and properly care for company tools and equipment.
● Complete projects efficiently while minimizing wasted labor and materials.
Experience and Qualifications
● Minimum 5 years of concrete construction experience preferred.
● At least 2 years of foreman or crew-lead experience preferred.
● Strong experience with commercial foundations, slabs, paving, sidewalks, curbs, and structural concrete.
● Ability to read plans and perform jobsite layout.
● Knowledge of forming, reinforcing steel, concrete placement, finishing, and quality control.
● Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
● Ability to manage crews and maintain production without sacrificing safety or quality.
● Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
● Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
● Must be dependable, punctual, and available for early pours and occasional weekends when required.
We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the work, plans ahead, communicates clearly, and can lead a crew from layout through final completion.
Pay: From $300.00 per day
