What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public emergency services when appropriate.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, verify authorized entry when required, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious activity according to site procedures.

Support a professional environment by assisting with directions, de-escalating tense interactions, and documenting incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in required reports.
Minimum Requirements:

Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

A guard card or license is preferred.

The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
