The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for performing receiving incoming materials and arranging logistics of inbounds.

Duties and Responsibilities
· General
· Follow GMP’s and keep your area clean at all times.
· Attend and pass quality, food safety, and competency training and evaluation when conducted.
· Follow assigned work schedules and monitor the activities in shipping and receiving department.
· Properly complete and maintain the assigned plant records.
· Report needed supplies to the Operations Manager.
· Follow Star Nut Safety and Accident Prevention Rules.
· Perform all work in accordance with company standards and established safety procedures.
· Demonstrates positive and a can-do attitude, confidence, endurance and constructively handle conflicts.
· Work with fellow employees in production and other departments to accomplish the goals of not only your department but the goals of Star Nut.
§ Specific
· Communicate with Field Buyers and Trucking Companies to arrange receiving incoming materials.
· Perform Weight checks of incoming trucks before and after unloading.
· Issue weight certificates and complete all required receiving and inventory records.
· Coordinate with Forklift Drivers to unload trucks and assign appropriate staging locations.
· Issue the correct labels/ tags for incoming products.
· Prepare incoming loads for fumigations.
· Coordinate with the Certified Applicator to fumigate incoming products.
· Move fumigated loads to the assigned production areas.
· Obtain and prepare samples for QC lab for testing.
· Coordinate with regulatory offices (USDA & FDA) to provide samples, obtain the analysis reports within 24-48 hours, and send it to Management team.
· Create reports for the Almond Board.
· Prepare the shipping loads and obtain the required information to obtain and prepare customers’ labels, issue phytos, and book trucking.
· Work Closely with Production to arrange and load the shipping products per schedule.
· Perform after-loading shipping practices such as issuing weight certificate, BOL, proper truck sealing.
· Follow up with the customer and send all required documentation.
· Review all S/R records and ensure proper completion of self-control forms.
· Summarize daily activities and create reports for Operations Manager.
· Have an understanding of equipment in the production area.
· Communicate effectively with other departments, staff group, and management.
· Work on special projects as requested.
· Works accurately with eye for detail.
· Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
This position requires a person experienced and/or ability in the following:
· Knowledge of Shipping and Receiving practices
· Basic reading, writing and math skills (using a calculator)
· Must be reliable and a team player
