DRIVER RECRUITER
Shoreline Transportation is headquartered in Greenville, AL and is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Recruiting Department as a Driver Recruiter for our Terminal located in Montgomery, AL.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with potential new hires about the benefits of being a Shoreline Driver
- Field recruiting and cold call potential candidates
- Receive and input Driver resumes and applications
- Pre-qualify new hires
- Assist with Driver processing, including background, MVR, and DAC screens, employment verifications, scheduling physicals, drug tests, orientation, and complete the hiring process
- Assist with the weekly recruiting report
- Attend career fairs and other driver recruiting opportunities
- Assist with EFS, safety issues, and other Shoreline and Tri-National, Inc. needs as requested
- Manage job boards and social media accounts
- Assist with some clerical duties (sorting of daily paperwork for billing and payroll purposes) and other requests made by Shoreline and Tri-National, Inc. management
Preferred Requirements and Skills:
- Knowledge of Transportation/Logistics
- Knowledge of JIT Freight
- Possesses good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and has a positive attitude
- Background in Human Resources/Recruiting, a plus
- CDL Class A preferred.
